Defoaming agent use
Pesticides play a vital role in modern agricultural production. Its use protects crops from pests and diseases and improves crop yield and quality.
However, in the production and use of pesticides (such as emulsification, dispersion, stirring, etc.), the foam problem often becomes an insurmountable obstacle.
Not only does it affect the production efficiency of pesticides, it may also hinder the direct contact between oxygen and reactants and reduce the efficiency of chemical reactions.
Defoamers (defoaming agent) are usually used to eliminate or control foam, so some customers will ask, Are low-foam silicone QS-326 and silicone defoamers TIS-382 the same product ? What is the difference between them?
1.Compound and Functions
QS-326 is an organosilicone adjuvant ,active ingredient is Trisiloxane which with great spreading and penetrating ability for pesticide spray liquid. Extremely low surface tension will help the pesticie and Nutrients enter the plant faster.
What’s more , Anti-foaming factors of QS-326 can effectively reduce the foam generated by silicone itself, make it less than ordinary silicone.
While for TIS-382 , PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane) for control bubbles, that means it only with defoaming and anti-foam ability which can eliminate foam in pesticide solutions, without spreading and synergist fuctions.
2. Application
QS-326 can use for EC agrochemical formulation build and Tank mix as spray adjuvant. Widely applicable with heribicide,insecticide, fungicide and foliar fertilizer production and spray work.
On the opposite, TIS-382 of Viscous milky white liquid, suitable for EW, SC formulation.
3.Can QS-326 and TIS-382 use together ?
If add TIS-382 when the formualtion production, then add QS-326 for tank mix use, that certainly available.
while not recommend use both of them when production as they have different formula type and may incompatible.
