Nonionic adjuvant Ambassador and insectcide adjuvant Taycan
The Argentine company Tropfen, specialized in the development of adjuvants, has announced an innovation and development alliance in the biological products market with Koppert Argentina.
Tropfen will supply functional and tailored adjuvants for the efficient application of biologically formulated products developed ,evaluated and refined through laboratory and field trials to ensure optimal compatibility and efficacy in the application of microorganisms.
The first Agricultural spray adjuvant product introduced is Ambassador, a next-generation non-ionic adjuvant that combines methylated soybean oil (MSO) with German-origin organosilicones. It has been developed for maximizing efficiency in applications of Nitrobac, a free-living nitrogen-fixing bacterium, due to its unique features as a penetrant, antievaporant, and super-spreader.
The second innovation is Taycan, an adjuvant technology based upon polyglycerol ester, designed to maximize efficiency in the application of the bioinsecticides Mulsanne and Boveril Plus. The solution improves infectivity and adhesion of the biologically active ingredient — the conidium — to the insect. Thanks to its differential composition, it is positioned as an excellent surfactant, sticker, penetrant, and drift mitigator.
